WHY MEDITATE?
This is a personal question with a personal answer. People are drawn to meditation for different reasons, including:

How do I start?
You can learn to meditate from books, from guided meditations online or best of all, from an experienced meditation teacher. Many people find a regular class helpful as it can support their practice at home and it allows them to ask questions. To set up a good meditation practice it can require some initial training and instruction to get you started. Many people find it difficult at first, to maintain a daily practice on their own at home. However, with a regular class and an experienced teacher, anything is possible!
