About Sailesh Chand Darshan

I Pure Soul is the culmination of Sailesh Chand Darshan’s work over 25 years fusing ancient wisdom with modern and Vedic science. Sailesh developed the need to meditate out of necessity – he was diagnosed with a giant cell tumour and was given six months to live as it has progressed so far. Over the next 25 years he transformed the need to survive into the want to thrive.

Today he is a spiritual teacher, Vedic counsellor and meditation teacher based in Brisbane, Australia. Everything he teaches he has himself studied and experienced.

SAILESH'S STORY

Born in Fiji as the youngest of seven, Sailesh grew up in an ordinary working class family.  At the age of 19 he was diagnosed with a giant cell tumour in his knee.  In his search for treatment he travelled to New Zealand, India and eventually Australia. His condition progressed over this three year search and led him to his spiritual master in India.  He learned deep spiritual practices which he practiced after leaving India.  He eventually had a leg amputation in Brisbane, Australia and used his deep meditation practice to rid his lungs of the lesions which had formed there.

He later opened a small shrine at his home in Virginia on Brisbane’s northside and continued to practice and dive deeper into himself. Experiencing intense states of inner bliss, he was encouraged to continue on this beautiful inward journey.  He met many masters on his travels overseas who each shared their knowledge.  Sailesh also connected deeply with the natural environment, which is itself a manifestation of divinity, as his great teacher.

Having himself reversed a number of chronic conditions through lifestyle changes and meditation, Sailesh shares his wisdom generously.  He has also secluded himself into long periods of silence, not at a retreat or in a cave, but in his own shrine, to deepen the communion with the soul.

Today he lives with a physical disability but does not let this stop him from living life to the fullest. He is married and has two children.

His amazing story has been published in a book!
